DC Power Systems
NPS Supplied 3G Enterprise and Access DC Power Solutions are the ideal solution for low to medium power telecommunications applications, offering compact, efficient, flexible and reliably secure DC power supply.
Typical applications include providing secure power for customer premises equipment, roadside terminals, data networks and IP routers.
The systems also include an integral DC distribution panel and the versatile SC200 series of system controller with Ethernet, GSM cellular (including text messaging), standard modem and TCP/IP communications options. (the SC100 is also available).
The versatile SC200 system controller features a front access USB port for ease of system setup along with a RS232 rear port and a 10BaseT Ethernet port for remote networking & communications.

Starting from 900W capacity up to 4500W with modular increments, Enterprise systems use a common platform for the Enterprise, Access and Energy Saver rectifiers which means that load capacity upgrades are easy as the business power load grows. Powerware 3G Enterprise Power Solutions are the ideal solution for low power telecommunications applications requiring compact, efficient and flexible DC power supplies. These 19” rack mount systems are available with up to two of the Powerware 3G Enterprise Power or Access Power series of 48V rectifier modules providing a total output of up to 3600W. The versatile SC200 system controller features a front access USB port for ease of system setup along with a RS232 rear port and a 10BaseT Ethernet port for remote networking & communications. |

Eaton’s Access power solutions encompass all the critical features necessary for access-level telecoms network applications including space restricted outdoor installations. Designed compact and powerful, these secure 24V and 48V DC systems utilize Eaton Access and Energy Saver rectifiers for high system efficiency and reliability, and come with integrated distribution and integrated backup power (optional). These 19” rack mount systems are available with up to 3 or 6 of the Eaton 3G Access Power Rectifier modules as either 24V or 48V with output up to 300A or 225A (respectively). The intelligent user-friendly controller interface makes for easy installation and commissioning, broad monitoring capability with extensive onboard communications options, and has programmable automated site control capability. The systems also include an integral DC distribution panel and the versatile SC200 series of system controller with Ethernet, GSM cellular (including text messaging), standard modem and TCP/IP communications options.(The SC100 is also available) |

| Powerware 3G External Battery Module |
The Eaton Enterprise Extended Battery Module (EBM) is designed as an optional integrated backup power source to the 3G Enterprise Power Systems, providing secure power during AC grid failure for anything from orderly shutdowns through to extended runtimes for continuity of service. Multiple battery modules can be connected together to achieve increased backup capacity for a given output demand. This module is slim and rack mountable to suit the likely applications for these systems such as server room racks. The battery modules use simple ‘plug and play’ cables for connecting the Enterprise Power Solution. No specialized tools are required, thus making installation very easy in an IT environment. Scalability of the EBM ensures that your investment is protected into the future as the demands of your network increase. Simply add more EBM modules as your network grows. |
