Connectivity and Communication for UPS

Emerson PDU's and Management Systems

Emerson UPS Management systems provide an efficient way for organizations to monitor their company-wide multi-vendor physical infrastructure: power, cooling, security, and environment.

Real-time monitoring, user-defined reports and graphs, and instant fault notification and escalation enable quick assessment and resolution of critical infrastucture events that can adversely affect IT system availability.

This centralized respository of critical information can be accessed by multiple users from anywhere on the network, creating a consolidated view of the physical infrastructure.

This open and flexible architecture expands with changing business needs through additional device licenses, add-on surveillance, capacity management and change management modules, and through integration with enterprise and building management systems.

Emerson MicroPod MBS

The MicroPOD allows you to manually transfer your connected equipment to utility power via a maintenance bypass switch, permitting scheduled maintenance or UPS replacement without power disruption. Transferring back to UPS power is just as easy – just turn the switch to the indicated position and your load is protected by the UPS.

Available in plug and play or hard wired options at 120V or 208V rating. Includes brackets for rack mounting in any direction.

Emerson OpenComms Webcard

The Liebert OpenComms Web Card provides SNMP and web-based management to your UPS. The card gives you the power to monitor and control your Liebert UPS from not only your Network Management Station, but from any PC running Microsoft® Internet Explorer™.

The Liebert OpenComms Web Card is the first UPS monitoring card to truly unleash the power of the Web, with its graphical Power Flow. The animated Power Flow allows you to quickly determine the condition of your power and the operating state of your UPS.

Emerson UPS Management Software

Liebert OpenComms Nform software solution combines full-scale monitoring with cost-effective deployment through the use of the existing network infrastructure -- so the cost of dedicated, out-of-band communications cabling is eliminated. It is both scalable and adaptable so it can grow as your systems expand and needs change.

The software can be configured to monitor your network for alarm notifications from Liebert power protection and precision cooling equipment. These alarms, or SNMP traps, can be received by the software and processed to trigger event actions such as e-mail alerts or local notifications.
