The Powerware 5110 UPS uses automatic voltage regulation (AVR) to smooth out wide fluctuations in input voltage, delivering clean, consistent output for protected equipment to ensure minimal business disruption during brownouts and power sags.

Unlike typical line interactive systems, the Powerware 5110 UPS does not switch back and forth to battery power to accomplish this voltage regulation (shortening battery life and increasing battery replacement costs), conserving battery power for when you really need it.
